PROFESSOR:  DR. GRAMLICH                  EMAIL:  sgramlich@ccp.edu

WEBSITE: http://faculty.ccp.edu/faculty/sgramlich

TEXT: A mandatory PearsonMyLab Standalone Access Code (online text only) can be purchased in PearsonMyLab through Canvas ($79.99 as of Summer 2020) or the CCP Main bookstore (just code $97.25 or printed text with code $187.25 as of Summer 2020).  MyLab contains ALL assignments, videos, and online texts "Elementary Statistics," (13th ed. by Mario F. Triola, Boston: Pearson, ©2018) & “Integrated Review” IR Workbook (1st ed, by Laura Iossi, ©2016) so a printed textbook is optional.

Login to Canvas CCP.Instructure.com for Discussion, Emails, and Class Notes.

Read your text, watch videos/animations, and do all graded Assignments (below) in PearsonMyLab by the due date(s) prescribed (given in class or in Canvas). Also, my Prospectus and Integrity Policy has useful information for achieving learning outcomes.

7                      FINAL EXAM

Grading: To calculate your Final weighted Average, add up the total # of points you've earned on all Assignments and divide by the total amount of possible points (points can be found in “Gradebook” in PearsonMyLab).  Convert to a %. Verify score in MyLab Gradebook.

Timeliness (attendance) of doing assignments (as per the syllabus), reading the discussion posts, and performance on the Final Exam will be taken into account, especially in borderline and equivocal cases.  You must work on ALL assignments to complete the course. Otherwise, a letter grade will be dropped for missing assignments or missing 2 weeks of attendance.

A >= 92%

82% <= B <= 92%

72% <= C <= 82%

62% <= D <= 72%

F <= 62%
