Snow Policy: If Public or Parochial Schools close due to snow there are no Labs

Procedures:

1.      A BOUND LAB NOTEBOOK must be used to record all laboratory data in ink.

             (a) NUMBER the pages and include a TABLE OF CONTENTS.

             (b) Notebooks must be prepared before coming to the laboratory.

             (c) Using the numbered right hand pages copy:

I.                     The title of the experiment.

II.                   The blank data pages or tables from the report sheet.

             (d) Notebooks are graded randomly during Lab.

2. Each student is required to wear suitable eye protection [GOGGLES OR SAFETY GLASSES]. Sunglasses are not acceptable. Lack of eye protection will result in dismissal and an ‘F’ grade for that Laboratory.

3. There are no scheduled make up laboratories. If a laboratory is missed consult your laboratory instructor as soon as possible for a home assignment.

4. Laboratory reports consist of the completed REPORT FORMS at the end of each experiment. Each report should begin with a COVER SHEET containing one or two paragraphs of a neatly written or typed introduction. The introduction should NOT be a procedure, but a summary of the purpose of the experiment.  Reports are due one week after the completion of the experiment. Late reports drop ten points per week.
