Online students, be sure you have read:
1. I just signed up for an online course — Now What!?
2. How To Login to WebStudy.IMPORTANT. You will not be able to login to Spring WebStudy courses until your new account is created or your current account is updated. Also, you cannot access or even see courses until they are activated.
WebStudy Accounts for Spring 2005 Students will be created about a week before classes begin on or about January 18 for students who have registered up to Saturday January 8. Students who drop/add the following week, will have their accounts created by January 17. Also, until your course is activated, you may get a message that "you are not enrolled in any course," even though your account is correct.
For TV courses there is nothing to log into. Just view broadcasts and attend scheduled meetings. See instructor web pages for syllabi. See Broadcast Schedules for times.Spring 2005 Important Dates
Dates For Online Courses:
Online work begins: Tuesday January 18 through Friday May 6, 2005. Some instructors may hold optional meetings during this week (schedules online). Note that instructors may change or a few courses may be cancelled for various reasons. Please check back here before courses begin for latest information.
Dates For Telecourses:
First Class meetings begin: Monday, January 24, 2005 - Friday January 28, 2005. These are required if scheduled by your instructor. Not all instructors have these meetings. If not, go to their web page (links in table) and get your syllabus there.
Broadcasts begin: Mon, January 31, 2005 and end Sunday May 1. See WHYY broadcast schedule.
Finals: Monday May 2, 2005 - Friday May 6, 2005
Note that meeting times are subject to change before the courses begin. Be sure to stay in contact with your instructor who can decide to make some optional or add extra optional meetings as needed.
Television Courses
For TV courses there is nothing to log into. Just view broadcasts and attend scheduled meetings.
