When finished,
press OK.
Listen to the
Tutorial. This will give you an idea of how the program works.
When using
Home Version, you will not be connected to the internet. All lesson homeworks will be done offline. NEVER update your files. You
are not downloading any information from your instructor. Click on Cancel
if this menu appears.
You are now at a
blue screen which has the word Lessons in red. This is called the exercise
and activity screen. You have arrived at Lesson 1, and all the exercises
are listed. You will complete the exercises in the order they are presented.
When an exercise is completed, the circle to the left of the exercise will be
filled in and appear navy in color. You may exit a lesson at any time and
return to where you left off. The program automatically bookmarks for you.
Enjoy the course.
Please, don’t look
at your fingers. Twenty percent of your grade is on technique. You should not
have more than 5 errors in an exercise at the beginning. If you do, redo the
exercise. You may redo an exercise as many times as you like. Repeat until you
feel comfortable with the new keys. Your objective is to learn these keys
without looking—trust me—it works.
