CYLINDER DURATION EXERCISE

SHOW ALL WORK-HAND IN NEXT CLASS

  1. What’s the volume in a tank (E-cylinder) when the pressure reads 500PSI?
  2.

    500 psig = 23% full

    2200 psig

  3. How many hours will an H-cylinder last if it runs at 5 liters/min from full?
  4.

    2200 x 3 = 1320 min/60min 1hr = 22 hrs

    5 LPM

  5. How long will an H-cylinder last when it reads 1000PSI? Flow = 8LPM
  6.

    1000 psig x 3 = 375 min/60 min/hr = 6.25 hrs

    8 LPM

  7. How long will an E-cylinder run if its liter flow is 1.5 liters/min and the pressure 1800 PSI?
  8.

    1800 x .3 = 360 min/60min/hr = 6hrs

    1.5 LPM

  9. How long (with a G-cylinder ) will oxygen run if it is set on 1liter/min and the pressure reads 650 PSI? (factor for G=2.41)

650psig x 2.41 = 1566.5 min/60 min/ = 26.1 hrs
