Dealing with Your Course When Having a
Personal or Family Crisis
During your pursuit of an education there may be times when a personal or family event or crisis
overwhelms you emotionally or occupies so much of your time that you cannot dedicate the time you
need to do your course work. At these times, it is essential that you seek help to work through the
situation. You also need to keep me informed of your situation so we can try to manage your class
obligations during this time. Below are some steps to take both for the course and for you personal
situation.

If possible, find another student in the class who can be of help with keeping you
informed about the classes.
