Tips for Success
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me using the Webstudy email system.
Many times a student is concerned that they will appear "stupid" if they ask questions. I
want you to know that I encourage questions as they help you to better understand course
materials.

You cannot give adequate answers to the questions without reading the materials first. Make
certain you purchase the text at the beginning of the semester and keep up with the readings.
It is very important to send your work in on-time. Assignments that are one day late lose
25% credit and no work assignment will be accepted if it is more than one day late,
The Webstudy system is set up so you can communicate with other students in class. It
is quite acceptable to discuss materials with other students in the class as a way of
helping you improve the quality of your responses to assignments.
You need to spend enough time with each assignment so you fully answer the questions.
This takes some time and thought, but it will assure full credit for the assignment.
Always read over your assignment. Reading what you have written aloud is a good way
to assure your answer makes sense. Also, make certain you check you work for spelling
and punctuation. See "Tips on Submitting Assignments" for more discussion.
