The Art Work of Michelle Sun
The title of my art show is Peony and Landscape. The Peony symbolizes prosperity and vibrancy in the Chinese culture. This exhibit captures the delicacy of magnified peonies with landscape and natural features to highlight power versus fragility and eternity versus transience and how nature repeats its patterns in God's wonder. The series conveys a blend of Georgia O'Keeff's floral perspective and Chinese painting techniques.
