Physics Department

The Physics Department of Community College of Philadelphia provides Physics and Engineering courses for a wide variety of majors. These courses are taught by both full time faculty and adjunct faculty. Faculty Directory.

The Physics Department also runs the Engineering - Science Program. Students who successfully complete this program can transfer to universities such as Drexel, Temple, Widener and Penn State to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in the engineering field of their choice.

The Physics Department has revised the Engineering - Science Program under an NSF grant. The revision includes two new Engineering Design and Laboratory courses where students use professional engineering workstations. Click the NSF logo on the left to find out more about the National Science Foundation.
