About Us

The Photographic Imaging Curriculum at Community College of Philadelphia has been educating photographers for over 35 years.

Completion of the program leads to an A.A.S. degree in Photographic Imaging with courses in still photography, video production and digital imaging.

Many students come to the College with no previous photographic experience but with an intense desire to discover themselves through visual media.

Our curriculum provides a solid foundation in both the traditional and digital photographic arts under the guidance of experienced and caring instructors. Students are thus enabled to pursue advanced courses and to consider career opportunities they may not previously have considered.

Graduates and professional photographers who wish to enroll in order to to tune-up or update their skills in a technical area are welcome, especially since they often add a level of expertise to student discussions.
