Advice for High School Seniors who are interested in our nursing program
If you have had the following courses in high school:
· Biology (1 year)
· Chemistry (1 year)
· Algebra or higher level math (2 years)
and have a grade of A,B or C, please consider a three year plan for our program which is very intense, fast paced and challenging. Spreading the courses over three years allows you to adjust to college, focus your studies and improve your chances of success. Applicants who get into nursing have an A/B average, so get an A or B in all of the courses that you take. A three year plan would look something like this:
Fall Semester
Biology 109
English 101
Sociology 101
General Education Math requirement
Spring Semester
Biology 110
English 102
Diet 111
