Get to the test early and find a comfortable seat.

Get to the test early so you can review key facts.

Listen for specific directions from the instructor and read all directions before you begin the test. Ask questions to make sure you understand the directions.

Budget your time.

If you are allowed to write on the test, consider doing the following:

• As soon as you receive the test, write down any key information such as important dates, names, formulas, theories, etc.

Answer easy questions first.

If you do not know the answer to a question, put a mark beside the question and move on to the next question.

Look for key phrases.

When trying to determine the correct answers consider what the instructor said in class.

Write your answers clearly.

Do not be concerned about other test takers.

Always proofread your test before you turn it in.
