The English Department at Community College of Philadelphia is a professional organization of nearly 300 faculty members teaching over 750 sections of courses each term on the main campus, at our regional centers, at community service sites in business and industry, and at various neighborhood locations throughout the city. We provide instruction in developmental reading and writing, English-as-a-Second-Language, college composition, literature, speech, theatre, and creative writing.
