The
Next Step-Start Early to Optimize Your Transfer Explore programs in
health care available at local four year Universities by clicking here. If you are
interested in transferring to a four-year college upon completion of your
associate’s degree, you should consult a transfer counselor. It is important to do this early in your
education at Community College to be sure that the courses you take transfer
to the four-year college. You can make
an appointment to see a transfer counselor by calling (215) 751-8169. Transfer agreements
are in place between the CST curriculum and programs at some four-year
colleges in the Philadelphia area.
These agreements insure that no credits will be lost upon transferring
if the student receives the Associate in Arts degree in CST. You can get more
information about the transfer agreements by meeting with a transfer
counselor, calling the CST Curriculum Coordinator, or reading the information
on the college website (see link to left-College Transfer Page). Community College of
Philadelphia has Dual Admissions Programs agreements with eleven area
Colleges and Universities: Cabrini,
Chestnut Hill, Cheyney, Drexel, Eastern, Holy Family, LaSalle, Peirce,
Rosemont, St. Joseph’s and Temple. Students can earn an
Associate degree with CCP and then transfer to one of the above Colleges to
complete the Bachelor Degree. Dual admissions programs are designed to assist
students in a seamless transition to enrollment in four year institutions.
Support services and financial incentives including scholarship awards are
built in to offer students the best chance of success. Please note each Dual Admissions agreement is unique. Make sure to consult the Dual Admissions
Chart for details and when you must complete the appropriate intent form for
consideration (see link to left-Dual Admissions Chart). To pick up information sheets and submit
Dual Admissions intent forms stop by the Division of Educational Support
Services (W1-1). Keep your options open! Consider transfer
to prepare for an exciting career in health care or science. Explore the
