Science

CST and the CST-Associate in Science Option both provide an opportunity to lay a foundation for numerous careers that involve science and society. Your life is affected by that relationship every day as you weigh the risks versus benefits of a certain drug or note the impact that computers have had on our daily routines. For those interested in “science,” starting out in the CST Program is a great way to explore the opportunities! CST students can then transfer into the Associate in Science program once they have focused on a more specific goal and completed the needed pre-requisites. The Associate in Science Program itself is designed for students who are going to transfer and major in biology, chemistry, physics or one of the pre-professional programs such as medicine or dentistry. Your AS degree can open the door to well-paying careers in a variety of areas including the basic sciences, medicine, environmental and waste management, information/scientific writing, food and drug development, biotechnology, nanotechnology, bionanotechnology, sales and marketing, and the like.
