Health Services Management

 

          The Health Services Management Program will give you the skills you need to understand the health care delivery system. Specifically, you will learn how to prepare and manage budgets, conduct a financial analysis of a medical practice and develop coding and reimbursement policies and procedures.

          A career as a Health Services Manager offers the benefits of positions available in many locations throughout the country and the choice to work in a variety of settings including hospitals, physicians’ offices, public health departments, rehabilitation centers, consulting firms, health insurance organizations, nursing homes and more. This career is in great demand with the Department of Labor predicting growth faster than average for all occupations through 2014. Entry level salaries for graduates from baccalaureate programs range from $32,000-$48,000 annually.

          Designed as a transfer curriculum, this program will prepare you for entry-level and middle management opportunities upon completion of a baccalaureate degree. The  program meets requirements for seamless transfer to Drexel University and Philadelphia University. The Health Services Management Program also prepares experienced practitioners for national credentialing exams.
