THE COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF PHILADELPHIA

EDUCATION PROGRAM

The Community College of Philadelphia Education Program provides students with a broad-based liberal arts curriculum and four education courses that prepare them for transfer to baccalaureate degree granting institutions.   Our newest education course is:

The Education curriculum has Sixteen TRANSFER AGREEMENTS with baccalaureate degree granting institutions in the region; fourteen agreements are related to Elementary Education and Two for Secondary Education  These agreements pertain to programs in elementary education.   Work is underway to secure agreements for secondary education programs as well.   Following completion of the Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree, students can transfer to local and regional colleges and universities, as well as to those in other areas.   By following degree options described below, students will complete studies leading to careers in elementary or secondary school education and related fields.
