Register for Education 226:  Teaching with Technology

 

EDUC 226: Teaching with Technology

A hands-on course to develop the skills necessary for incorporating computer and other information technologies into classroom practice. Students learn through a problem-based inquiry approach to address the use of information technology in the classroom. The social implications of the use of technology are addressed. Instructional materials for use in the classroom and professional portfolio are developed. Prerequisites: ENGL 101, EDUC 201, MATH 118 or higher, and CIS 103 or demonstration of competency by examination.

*If you are thinking of transferring to Temple University, take EDUC 226 now.

EDUC 226 transfers as an equivalent to Temple’s required course, ED 255.
