The following are guidelines for minimal information and additional optional entries for all academic Departments creating a web page to be hosted on a College server. Please keep in mind that the "entry" page for each Department must be named index.htm (or index.html) in order for the web page to automatically display when the URL is typed simply using the name of the Department. The following example shows the URL for the Math department's web page.

Name of Department, Program, Curriculum, etc.
Programs, disciplines, or services offered by Department and, where appropriate, links to contact information
Department Chair name, office number, and location
Department Chair telephone number/extension
Department email address or email address for Department Chair
List of faculty members or a link to alphabetical by department faculty listing
Link to College catalog and course descriptions, where appropriate
Link to College home page
"Date last modified"
Optional information:
Links to web pages describing programs, disciplines, or services offered within Department
Links to supplemental academic web sites for use by students in your Department
Links to organizations or career information that may be of interest to your students.
Financial Aid information
Online Application
Academic Calendar
Link to courses currently offered
Link to Support Services offered by the College, e.g. Learning Lab, etc.
