I teach English 205, Creative Writing; English 101/108, CAP C; and English 102. I’m interested in ways to make my courses relevant and interesting to our students. To that end, I like to change course structures and texts frequently.
I’m curious about the pros and cons of using a common text or theme in ENG 102, what kinds of texts people use in ENG 205, how people count essay revisions in ENG101.
Likewise, I’m interested in how to make a better CAP C course that adequately challenges students transitioning from developmental courses and also addresses their issues as readers.
I’m extremely interested in collaboration, team teaching and problem-based learning. |
